CPA or CA between five and seven years of auditing and/or transaction services experience, preferably with a big four accounting firm.
Strong written and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to be productive in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
Someone who enjoys thinking independently, has a skeptical mind and is creative: that she/he can think out of the box.
Candidate should be passionate about investing.
Responsibilities include:
Associates in the group perform fundamental analysis of financial reports and other filings of publicly held companies, with an emphasis on identifying accounting related clues that may indicate actual or imminent improvement or deterioration in corporate operating performance.
The group operates as an independent unit within the firm and has developed a standardized financial model and reporting format. The group's research forms an integral part of the firm's proprietary database on public companies, and is used exclusively by the firm's internal investment managers as a basis for allocating additional due diligence efforts in constructing and managing portfolios.
